Faculty exchange to Sciences Po
Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, or Sciences Po, supports research in all the social sciences, including political science, sociology, history and law, with an emphasis on political science and policy studies generally. Previously, Northwestern faculty members have been involved with the following research units:

- Centre d’Etudes Européennes (CEE)
- Center for Studies in Social Change (OSC)
- Centre for the Sociology of Organizations (CSO)

Prepare for your trip
If you are a US passport holder planning to stay in France for 90 days or less, you may qualify for a visa exemption.
FIG will contribute a fixed amount toward your airfare once the trip has been completed. Please send your documentation (including ticket receipt and boarding passes) to Jill Ware upon your return to process the reimbursement.
Northwestern employees who will be travelling abroad are advised to complete the online application for the free GeoBlue Global Health Insurance. One only has to sign up once to be covered for any additional travels abroad.
Upon your return please send a short report on your visit, including a list of talks and other relevant academic activities, to our director.
